Overview

Dhampus is a beautiful village lying in the mid hills of Annapurna region which is inhabited by Gurungs, Magars and others with great culture and hospitality. There is also a Buddhist monastery. Village is an ideal place to view the great and beautiful Annapurna Mountains and also other mountains in close-up. Dhampus is a place where you sit and explore the sunset and high peaks in tranquility allowing opportunity to know the typical lifestyle of mid hills. You will be blessed with the natural beauty and scenery of Dhampus including other nearby places in Annapurna region. You will encounter breathtaking sceneries along the trails.

Day 1 :

Kathmandu Arrival

Flight Tracker Travels team member will be standby at the airport to welcome you in Kathmandu. He will transfer you to hotel. The drive from the airport to the hotel is around 20 minutes. After refreshment, we will brief your plan more visibly.

Day 2 :

Kathmandu to Pokhara (950M) 7-8 hours

We shall move on to the serene city Pokhara, also known as the City of Lakes. The journey follow curvy roads with scenic landscape along the torrential Trishuli River by bus or private car. Annapurna range of the Himalayas grows gradually as we approach Pokhara taller in the distance. The greetings from hospitable people of the beautiful mountain city along with the enchanting peaks end our day. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 3 :

Phedi (1080m) to Dhampus (1580M) 3-4 hours

Early morning we shall take a drive to Phedi. Then we hike to Dhampus village via Australian Camp (2000m). Dhampus is a Gurung inhabitant village where we shall be able to see their warmly woven cultures and traditions. Panoramic views are visible. Overnight at Dhampus.

Day 4 :

Dhampus to Sarangkot (1910M) 4-5 hours

After breakfast we start trek to Sarangkot through Naudanda. The trail follows greenery hills, paddy fields, and beautiful landscapes providing glimpses of mountain views. After couple of hours of trekking we arrive at Sarangkot which is best known for its best location to spectate best sunrise and sunset in Nepal. Therefore is a perfect backdrop for breathtaking views of Annapurna (8,091m.), Dhaulagiri (8,167m.), Ganesh Himal (7,446m.), Manaslu (8,165m.), Machhapuchhre (6,993m.). Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 :

Trek Sarangkot to Pokhara (950M) 3,4 hours

After early breakfast we head off to Pokhara from Sarangkot. Descending down slowly we reach Pokhara after 3-4 hours of trek. Enjoy exploring local markets and restaurants in beautiful city Pokhara.

Day 6 :

Pokhara to Kathmandu (5-6 hours)

After your breakfast, you will drive for 5-6 hours through Prithivi Highway by bus or private car. The returning journey is yet so exciting. And then transfer to hotel for the refreshment. You will have farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 :

Departure from Kathmandu

Flight Tracker Travels team member will drop you to the airport by private vehicle 3 hours prior to your flight time.
