Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the best trekking in Annapurna region where you will discover the Mountain views, mixed culture and forestry walk.

One of the most beautiful trekking in Annapurna Region. It is starting from Nayapul then through Poon hill Chhumrong, Annapurna Base Camp & Back Landruk, ended at Phedi. Mt. Annapurna is one of the most magnificent peaks in the world. Poon hill view point is a great destination of this trek. It provides us a magnificent panoramic view of snow mountain range. Pastures, cultivated fields, deep forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron are another attraction of this trek.

Traditional villages of Nepal’s ethnic communities of the Gurung, Magar and Bramarn people will give a great welcome you on their village. The trail finally stumbles across moraines then reach to Annapurna Sanctuary. From there you will see undeniably beauty and unimaginable views of Annapurna mountain range.
The Annapurna Base Camp trek will be even more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers.

The National Flower of Nepal is Rhododendron. It belongs to Ericaceae family and sub family of ericoideae. It is a class characterized by bushes and small to large trees, the smallest species growing to 10–100 cm (3.9–39.4 in) tall, and the largest reported to 30 m (98 ft.) tall. Itinerary

Flight Tracker Travels team member will be there to welcome you at the airport in Kathmandu. He will transfer you to hotel. The drive from the airport to the hotel is around 20 minutes. After refreshment, we will brief your plan more visibly.

Pokhara is set in a lovely valley at the foot of the Machapuchare so you get spectacular views of the mountains from all parts of the town. It is quite different then Kathmandu, it has plenty of scenic attractions and is close to the mountains. Here is some interesting short walks or bicycle rides in Pokhara, you can swim and canoe on Lake Phewa or just watch the last rays of the sun stream across the dip in the mountains that hold the lake. Along the lakeside road there is a continuous stretch of small hotels, restaurants and shops; it’s an area which still has a bit of the old hippy scene felt about it.

After breakfast take a bus ride to Nayapul(trek starting point) for one hour than trek to Birethanti for 30minutes where trekking permit and national park permit will be checked. Team leader will handle all your paper works to be examined. The trail continues along the Bhurungdi Khola passing through small villages and water fall you will reach a small village called Tikhedhunga where we will spend a night.

After crossing the suspension bridge over the Bhurungdi Khola, you will have to start a steep ascent to Ulleri (2073m) with steady pace stone steps. This section is comprised of hard ascend. With gradual uphill through small village and passing Rhododendron forest we will reach in Ghorepani. Lunch en-route at Banthanti (mid-trail).

Early in the morning we will ascents upward to Poonhill to observe magnificent sunrise and mountain views. The sun rays striking to snowcapped mountains and reaching towards our eyes is phenomenal. After our observation we descend down to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing, climbing through rhododendron forest. We then continue to Tadapani, trekking through open grassland and deep forests. On the way there are excellent views of Annapurna South and the Manaslu range. Our trail today is considered to be highlights of the trekking. The forest clears every so often, providing absolutely beautiful views of the Dhaulagiri Massif.

Once we have reached the top of the ridge we continue on a stunning ridge walk through the forest with lovely views of Dhaulagiri poking through the trees. We then start to descend and continue downhill through forest, with moss covered trees, thick foliage and lianas hanging down. We follow the river as it leaps and jumps down waterfalls, and continue down for several hours. After a final ascent we then arrive in Tadapani where we stay in a teahouse with stunning views of Annapurna South, Machapuchare and down the valley to the horizon.

A lovely day of walking as we continue to Chomrong. Our path initially descends for about three hours, through rhododendron forest with incredible mountain views glimpsed through the trees and then through open terraced farmland dotted with villages. The descent is quite hard on the knees but the views is worthwhile. Once we reach the bottom of the valley floor, we cross a river over the bridge and start ascending the other side. The path climbs steadily for about two hours with great views down the valley before we arrive in Chomrong. Chomrong is the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp and has developed into a major trekking center.

After short descending we cross suspension bridge in ChomorangKhola trail continue ascending till sinuwa. Then rocky path through the forested area until KurdiGhar. After here trail start to decent through stone path and bamboo forest till Bamboo. After Bamboo ascent gently through forested area and move on the crossing about three streams soon you will arrive to Dobang.

Trail continues towards to Himalaya hotel. About one hour walk from here, there is a huge rock that called Hinko cave. Between Hinko cave and Deurali it is the area of boulders and low scrub (no trees). It is a sign of avalanche area. After Deurali the trail crosses several streams towards to Machhapuchhare base camp.

You will follow the ablation valley, which is a corridor- like hollow developed between the glacier and the mountain flank. Crossing over the low hills and uphill you are in theAnnapurna base camp. It boasts of a dynamic view of mountain.

Today we trek back to Bamboo along only route descending steadily. Yet the journey of return trek is exciting. Bamboo is 1,600m lower than ABC so you should be prepared for a hard day on your knees. The views are beautiful and you see the valley unfold in a new direction. It is also interesting to see the change in scenery from the snowy rocks of the base camps, past steep-sided rocky mountains, then later into rhododendron and bamboo forest, lush with foliage and rivers. Bamboo is a small village with pleasant tea houses.

We continue back down the valley on a gently undulating path with lovely views before descending steeply to the Chomrong Khola. From here the path ascends steeply to Chomrong before descending again to Jhinu. Descend to Chomrong and continue to Jhinu hot spring where we can enjoy a hot spring bath. About 20 minutes’ walk downhill from Jhinu are some hot springs (about 105°F) where you can relax and soothe your muscles. Better respect to wear a swimming costume in the hot springs.

A short morning descending trek to pick up our vehicle for the journey to Pokhara. A beautiful final day of walking as we descend gently along a wooded ridge before emerging into farmland around river side.  Afternoon to explore.

Return back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The bus journey will take 5 to 6 hours
