Overview

Chitlang is known for its organic village taste and is well known place for short destination in Nepal. It is located at Makawanpur district Chitlang VDC and is about 22 KM from Kathmandu in the South West direction. There is a resort made out of fully organic recipe called Chitlang Organic Village Resort. Attractions are Ashok Chaita which is believed to be built by emperor Asoka of Magadh, Goat Farm, Naspati (Pyrus pyrifolia) garden, Satdhara. For those living in city areas with busy schedule and congested life ideology Chitlang is the perfect place to throw all your anxiety and stay in a relax way with fresh and clean organic environment delightfully.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Kathmandu to Chitlang (27 KM) 1.5 Hours

Today is our first day of Chitlang trip and we will drive for Chitlang. You can drive to Thankot and hike to Chitlang either if you are hike lover. Our journey moves through the several Newari villages and green forest. Here you can see their culture as well. In Chitlang you will stay in resort and you will enjoy campfire, music and dance. After dinner rest overnight at resort.

Day 2 :
Explore Chitlang and Kulekhani

Visiting around and drive to Kulekhani to enjoy Indra Sarobar Lake and back to Kathmandu (47 KM). 2.5 Hours Today we will visit around the village observing the village lifestyle and exotic scenery. After short hike to village we will be back resort for Lunch then drive to Kulekhani. In Kulekhani you will be fascinated by boating at the wide green manmade lake and explore natural beauty around. After boating and visiting we will drive back along the same way to Kathmandu.
