Kathmandu also known as the city of temple is full of small and large temples which are of great importance. First there is the Swoyambhunath which is a beautiful architect ever seen in top hill. Also known as the "Monkey Temple" among visitors from abroad, Swoyambhunath sits atop its hill, overlooking most parts of the valley. After a short straight ascend you will be rewarded with a wide panorama views. Swoyambhu consisting of two words “swoyam-self” and “bhu-existence” so means ‘self-existence one’. According to translations from an inscription dating back to 460 A.D., it was built by King Manadeva and by the 13th century, Swoyambhunath had developed into an important center of Buddhism. And there is Bouddhanath equivalently famous as Swoyambhunath. Apart from these sites, Bhaktapur, Patan and Basantapur Durbar Squares (ancient palaces) provide the glimpse of the rich ancient culture via stone and wood carvings in different pagoda styled temples and other structures.
After sightseeing in Kathmandu then we will drive to Pokhara the city of natural wonders. Pokhara filled with spectacular views of mountains such as Mt. fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Annapurna, Green hills, overlooking Peace Gumba and the Phewa Taal Lake. Early morning in Sarangkot allows you to spectate marvelous sunrise. Boating in Phewa Taal, visiting International Mountain Museum, Peace Gumba are the things to do in Pokhara. Other things include Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, zip flyer, mountain biking, rafting etc. And lastly there is also BBQ, Beer and live music.
After Pokhara our tour heads to Chitwan after 5-6 hours’ drive from Pokhara. Chitwan is best known for wildlife exploration and is good place to spend for nature and wildlife admirer. Elephant safari, jeep safari, Elephant bathing, boating, museum visit etc. are the things you can do in Chitwan. We can also go to Elephant breeding center. We can see different wildlife such as one horned rhinoceros, Gharials, wild boars, deer and if you’re lucky Bengal Tiger. Hotels may sometimes organize cultural programmes to show us unique cultures.
After the attachment with wildlife we continue our tour driving to Lumbini Birthplace of Gautam Buddha and which is at present our last destination. Lumbini is filled with the Buddhism spirituality and is of great important place in Nepal. There are many monastery gifted by many countries which are of eye catching beautiful structure. Visiting Lumbini you will feel a relaxing environment with tranquility. The great Ashoka pillar, sacred pond, Temple of lords, Maya Devi temple and remains of Old monastery in Lumbini can fascinate you completely. It is also listed in World Heritage sites.
